WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning universal life energy. Reiki is the natural energy that surrounds and penetrates us and all other life forms. Universal energy is as essential to us as oxygen, water and food. 

Reiki works on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. It can be sent to recipients with different ailments and diseases complementing traditional and alternative therapies. It can also help in times of birth and death by soothing and supporting. When sending Reiki, no visualisation or use of will power, physical force or physic ability is necessary. The natural healing energy is drawn through the body, to the hands and then to the area being touched. The energy flows according to what is needed to bring about health and well being.
